Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another. Romans 12:10

Duty of Love

We are living in a society which has everything in excess. Cars, computers, costumes, gadgets, and so on. One thing is excessively lacking. Love. Love is in demand between brothers, sisters, couples, and families. In today's verse Romans 12:10, St. Paul encourages us to extend to one another this beautiful gift of love. And he is also adding one more suggestion: to honour, meaning regard, respect, and prioritise the need of the other. The other is the one who you think does not even deserve your love for he or she has offended you enough and more. Do not deny your capacity for love which will heal and sheds light in the world. Love needs mindfulness and practice. Do you declare yourself as a believer of Christ? Then dare practice this warfare of love. Love wins over anything and everything and brings peace for all. Amen!
