Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. Eph 6:11

Armour of God

Life is a battle. Life of a christian is a tougher one, and that of a practicing believer or an evangelist is the most difficult one. The enemy is the defeated one who shamelessly shouting around as if he still has any power. Peter admonishes us in 1 Peter 5:8, "Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour." Notice that he is not the lion, he roars like a lion. Ignorant Christians are easy victims of his voice of doubt, fear, self pity, worldliness, lust and so on, which keeps on echoing in their minds. Neglect him. For Christ, the Victor is the Lion.

Jesus calmed down all roaring in His first earthly ministry over seas, sicknesses and death, and declared, "It is finished!" (Jn 19:30)  As soldiers of God's army, put on the whole armour as listed in Ephesians 6:14-18, stand in the battlefield, and enjoy victory over victory, for the battle is our God's. Believe this mystery, practice, declare, and enjoy success in all walks of life.

Father, thank you for your armours. Let your Spirit remind me constantly to put on the armour for the battle of victory. Amen!
