Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life? Mt 6:27

Learn to Laugh

Scientists, intellectuals, scholars, politicians, students, and servants all have worries; worries over finances, projects, health, and survival. God's children need not and should not worry about anything as Jesus Himself challenges our worries. Difficult situations are often set before us, or permitted, to bring the best within us. The one who designed us and moulded us will not give us problems that we cannot handle unless He has equipped us with skills needed. "You are like the clay in the potter’s hands, and I am the potter.” (Jer 18:6) Reporting to the Creator about our situations in prayer and receiving assistance for solving any hardships is the only way out. Worry is the doubt in the unfailing love and providence of the Almighty God. That is why Paul, who went through enormous amounts of hardships, trials, and imprisonments, out of his experience suggests to learn to laugh. "Be joyful always, pray at all times, be thankful in all circumstances." (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18)

Abba! Help me believe your unfailing providence. Let your Spirit help me to be joyful in every situation. Amen!
