He brought them safe to the port. Ps 107:30

Bon Voyage!

God's children must have great trust in the power of God that will calm great winds and mighty storms, "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you" (Is 43:2). At times ships are permitted to toss and roll for we need to take the right course to reach the God-destinied port. Life of Jonah, the prophet who received directions from the Lord, who denied taking the advised voyage to Nineveh, sets an example for struggling lives that needs  to check the course or change the direction (Jonah: 1-17). Attempt of a zealous missionary voyage of Paul, too, met with the storm at the sea and the shipwreck, but reached him safely ashore to the island called Malta whose natives needed the Gospel of salvation (Acts 27:13-28:10). The apostles also feared the great storm of wind and the waves that beat the boat, forgetting that Christ was by their side and He said to the sea, “Peace! Be still!” And the wind ceased (Mk 4:39). Mary's faith and obedience is required of every believer that generations may praise them blessed, "Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it done unto me according to thy word" (Lk 1:38). Let's receive the roadmaps as we continue our journeys and voyages.

Abba, help us receive and believe and follow Your directions in our voyages. Let your Spirit help us listen clearly.
