So be truly glad. There is wonderful joy ahead, even though you must endure many trials for a little while. 1 Peter 1:6

Gladness Reminder

No human being on earth is trial free even if he is a millionaire,  hence, soldiers of Christ in the battlefields of life are encouraged to endure for sometime: “So be truly glad. There is wonderful joy ahead, even though you must endure many trials for a little while” (1 Peter 1:6). The purpose of letting us pass through trials is to strengthen us of our faith in the All-powerful God. “These trials will show that your faith is genuine. It is being tested as fire tests and purifies gold—though your faith is far more precious than mere gold. So when your faith remains strong through many trials, it will bring you much praise and glory and honor on the day when Jesus Christ is revealed to the whole world.” (1 Peter 1:7) The attitude of gladness should be kept alive at all circumstances, is also reminded by Paul who endured trials and kept his joy and faith: “Always be full of joy in the Lord. I say it again—rejoice!” (Phil 4:4). Let’s remind each other to remain glad.

Abba, we rejoice as You are holding our hands through all trials. Let your Spirit strengthen our faith. Amen.
