世界人口74 億人のうち、救世主の名前と福音を知っている人は、22億人のみです。キリスト者一人ひとりの義務は、自分に届いた福音と、享受している救いを、出会う人びとに告げ知らせることです。荒野に生きた洗礼者ヨハネは、自分の弟子たちにイエスについて次のように知らせました。「あなたがたの中には、あなたがたの知らない方がおられる。」（ヨハネ1:26）。また、翌日イエスが来られるのを見ると、「見よ、世の罪を取り除く神の小羊だ。」  (ヨハネ1:29)と言いました。同様に、フィリポはナタナエルに出会うと、「わたしたちは、モーセが律法に記し、預言者たちも書いている方に出会った。それはナザレの人で、ヨセフの子イエスだ。」 (ヨハネ1:45)と言い、「来て見るように」（ヨハネ1:46)と、ナタナエルを説得しました。彼らのように、家族や友人たちに、喜んで主を紹介しましょう。

 

天のお父様、あなたの独り子をわたしたちの救済のために、お遣わしくださりありがとうございます。聖霊様が、福音を分かち合うための、勇気と同情をわたしにくださいますように。イエスのみ名によって。アーメン。
