At that moment the veil in the sanctuary of the Temple was torn in two. Mat 27:51

Fellowship Re-initiated

Sin had separated the mankind from the Creator, and hence, redemption was required, which Christ came down and accomplished on Calvary, “At that moment the veil in the sanctuary of the Temple was torn in two” (Mat 27:51). Access into the sanctuary had been restricted until Christ paid the price, “For you know that God paid a ransom to save you from the empty life you inherited from your ancestors. And the ransom he paid was not mere gold or silver. It was the precious blood of Christ, the sinless, spotless Lamb of God.” (1 Pet 1:18-19). The lost relationship got regained and became closer, as Jesus initiated the fellowship still closer by calling God, “Abba”: “After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name” (Mat 6:9). Paul also highlights the privilege of the new covenant that brought a special status to every believer, “For his Spirit joins with our spirit to affirm that we are God’s children.” (Rom 8:16). Let’s enjoy the redeemed fellowship with the Father, the Son, and the Spirit.

Abba, thank you for accepting us as your children. Let your Spirit rejoice in fellowship with you, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
