My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. Jn 10:27

Guiding Voice

The modern age, while providing multiple opportunities, often confuses and misguides ordinary people, who were able to decide and discern very easily. Crossroads of life demand guideposts that lead in the right direction. Listening to the guiding voice of Our Shepherd, is an easy way in the path of life, for He has promised, “My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me” (Jn 10:27). The noise of today’s culture and gadgets are too loud that one is not able to receive the signal from God, “The ox knows its master, the donkey its owner's manger, but Israel does not know, my people do not understand” (Is 1:3). The survival instinct of other creatures that seem to be simple and vulnerable, often surprises the minds of so-called brilliant humans, who get lost, even with lots of scientific advancements and knowledge. The guiding voice of God keeps echoing toward leading His own children, who share His image, “Even the stork in the sky Knows her seasons; And the turtledove and the swift and the thrush Observe the time of their migration; But My people do not know The ordinance of the LORD” (Jer 8:7). Let’s get focused that we may hear and tread the path of our destiny that’s been provided with infinite love and mercy.

Abba, thank you for talking to us using Your Word and prophets among us. Let your Spirit help us hear your Guiding Voice, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
