There is One God. Rom 3:30

Astonishing Mystery

The vast oceans of galaxy amaze the brilliance of astronomers, but what is to be amazed is the One who created and sustains the universe. The entire creation should exhibit their brilliance by acknowledging and worshipping Him. Moses exclaimed at the mystery and expressed, “Who is like You among the gods, O LORD? Who is like You, majestic in holiness, Awesome in praises, working wonders?” (Ex 15:11). As Dear Father who resides in heaven, He also reminds, “You shall have no other gods before Me” (Ex 20:3). Temptations of today’s world are either denying or being drawn to false gods due to lack of capacity to comprehend, and hence He invites us to realise, “You shall not fear other gods, nor bow down yourselves to them nor serve them nor sacrifice to them” (2 Kings 17:35). Blessings proceed as we believe and worship His name and praise Him high, for the greatest Glory belongs to Him, “I am the LORD, that is My name; I will not give My glory to another, Nor My praise to graven images” (Is 42:8). Paul, despite his theological expertise, remained ignorant until he got revealed and then wrote to Romans, “There is one God” (Rom 3:30). Let’s gather in assemblies of faith and declare that we have One God and live under His protective arms.

Abba, thank you for giving us the true faith in You. Let your Spirit illumine our minds and lives to understand and worship, in Jesus’ most holy name, Amen.
