He asked me, “Son of man, can these bones live?” I said, “Sovereign Lord, you alone know.” Ezek 37:3

His Spirit Heals

The circumstances of life and the challenges ahead of us, might test our faith, but we do not have to worry about any of them, for the God whom we believe and call “Abba,” transforms our situations for better. The Prophet, Ezekiel had the demonstration that can strengthen our faith and give us hope: “He asked me, ‘Son of man, can these bones live?’ I said, ‘Sovereign Lord, you alone know.’ Then he said to me, ‘Prophesy to these bones and say to them, “Dry bones, hear the word of the Lord! This is what the Sovereign Lord says to these bones: I will make breath enter you, and you will come to life. I will attach tendons to you and make flesh come upon you and cover you with skin; I will put breath in you, and you will come to life. Then you will know that I am the Lord.” (Ezek 37:3-6) The Original Breath that initiated and has sustained the life of mankind for centuries, is still willing to offer assistance when we kneel down and pray before Him, “Then the LORD God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being” (Gen 2:7). I admire the invitation that David extends to all that can breathe, to join his choir to worship the life-giving Spirit, “Let everything that has breath praise the LORD. Praise the LORD” (Ps 150:6). Never give up hope, keep praying and believing, for we have a Father whose eyes are kept on us.

Abba, thank you for extending Your hands of healing, that I may be strengthened and become more alive. Let your Spirit be breathed unto me, to revive me, in Jesus’ Most Loving Name, Amen.
