The Scriptures tell us, ‘The first man, Adam, became a living person.’ But the last Adam—that is, Christ—is a life-giving Spirit. 1 Cor 15:45

The Perfect Declaration

The authority that God has extended to His first son, Adam, was lost, when he forgot the commandment God gave for him to enjoy life with Him, “And the Lord God commanded the man, ‘You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat from it you will certainly die.’”(Get 2:16-17). The never ending love of God towards His children went to that extreme, to sacrifice His own son to redeem mankind forever. He took the title of second Adam—“The Scriptures tell us, ‘The first man, Adam, became a living person.’ But the last Adam--that is, Christ--is a life-giving Spirit” (1 Cor 15:45)—and performed the mission required for salvation amidst all difficulties, and shouted “It is finished.” “When Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, ‘It is finished.’ And bowing His head, He yielded up His spirit” (Jn 19:30). Let’s believe in this sacred mystery, and take full advantage of the salvation that is perfectly declared.

Abba, thank You for this unfathomable love You extend towards us. Let Your Spirit help us celebrate, and proclaim Your Son’s sacrifice, in Jesus’ Loving Name, Amen.
