Situations of life bring us fear, doubt, and troubles; then we need to take shelter in God’s presence, trusting in His providence, than to look for human assistance, as David himself convincingly expresses: “It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man” (Ps 118:8). Solomon, the wise man, also shares his wisdom regarding the action we need to take in times of trouble, to be led by God: “Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight” (Prov 3:5-6). As believers, if we know the name of our God, who alone can protect us, and if we put our trust in Him, he definitely will save us, as Psalmist sings: “Those who know your name trust in you, for you, LORD, have never forsaken those who seek you” (Ps 9:10). Let’s disregard our situation, however difficult it might appear, and live a life of trust. 

Abba, thank You for encouraging us to trust You, by extending your healing hands. Let Your Spirit increase our faith in You. In Jesus’ Most Miraculous Name, Amen.
