He replied, “Every plant that my heavenly Father did not plant will be pulled up by the roots.” Mt 15:13

His Plants Survive

Complaints about weeds that disturb the growth of sprouts are present in all ages. Sincerest reports should be offered as prayers to God, that He may look into them, those things that we are not able to handle by ourselves, in His own time and His own way. “But while his men were sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat, and went away. So when the plants sprouted and formed grain, the weeds appeared also. The servants of the owner came to him and said, ‘Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? Then how does it have weeds in it?’” (Mt 13:25-27) Sleeping, that is the spiritual apathy, is claimed as the reason for the unwanted weeds, but let’s not grow weary, for He has firmly announced that God our Father will deal with that: “He replied, ‘Every plant that my heavenly Father did not plant will be pulled up by the roots.’” (Mt 15:13) In an appointed time, His angels will complete the mission, and save the plants that He has kept and made survive for His barn, “and the reapers are angels. So just as the weeds are gathered up and burned in the fire, so will it be at the end of the age” (Mt 13:39-40). Let’s pray unceasingly, and remain as His plants that survive amidst any weeds.

Abba, thank You for keeping us by Your protective care. Let Your Spirit strengthen us, by making us believe His words and His Father’s arrangements. In Jesus’ Most Mighty Name, Amen.
