Assistance From Heaven

Any believer who commits his life to follow Christ receives the greatest reward from heaven - the Helper and His knowledge: “But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you” (Jn 14:26). Timely reminder of heavenly wisdom, is the rarest knowledge, comes in the form of revelation, that brings greatest understanding of mysteries that can never be comprehended by the world. It took years for the disciples to grasp the meaning of the word Christ spoke regarding His death and resurrection - not until they received the Holy Spirit: “Therefore, when He had risen from the dead, His disciples remembered that He had said this to them; and they believed the Scripture and the word which Jesus had said” (Jn 2:22). No man can achieve this revelation by any of his intellectual skills or academic tools, and that is why Paul motivates believers to desire for that: “Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God” (1 Cor 2:12). May each and every step of ours be guided by the assistance from heaven, so that we are on the right path.

Abba, thank You for the gift of the Comforter and of His reminders. Let Your Spirit continue to provide us with revelations that keep us on Your way.
