Keep busy always in your work for the Lord, since you know that nothing you do in the Lord's service is ever useless. 1 Cor 15:58

At God’s Service

There are numerous activities we do according to the roles we play- duties toward the family, friends and society at large. But nothing can replace the duty we have toward our Creator, as that is more valued by God, even if it is small or little: “since you know that nothing you do in the Lord's service is ever useless” (1 Cor 15:58). We get tired at times when we do not see the results of the activities we do on behalf of God, and grow weary and give them up, and so Paul asks us to be full of hope: “Let us not grow weary in well-doing, for in due time we will reap a harvest, if we do not give up” (Gal 6:9). Also a word of encouragement comes from God, through His apostle Paul, to be active in the service of the Lord: “So then, my dear friends, stand firm and steady. Keep busy always in your work for the Lord” (1 Cor 15:58). May God keep our sprit alive that we may remain faithful to what is expected of us.

Abba, Thank You so much for honouring all our activities that is at your service. Let Your Spirit renew our enthusiasm to be active in serving You. In the Most Blessed Name of Jesus, Amen.
