Modern man has learned many things,  except to handle and guard the mind from worries; and Paul suggests prayer with a grateful heart as the remedy and solution: “Don’t worry about anything, but in all your prayers ask God for what you need, always asking him with a thankful heart” (Ph 4:6). More than anything else we need to fill our minds with God’s peace, that would keep our hearts and minds in perfect safety, and that should be our priority to enjoy a happy and blessed life: “And God’s peace, which is far beyond human understanding, will keep your hearts and minds safe in union with Christ Jesus” (Ph 4:7). May Christ, the giver and perfecter of peace, grant us the necessary safety and keep us stable in tranquility.

Abba, thank You for providing with the unlimited supply of peace. Let Your Spirit guard our minds from unnecessary worries, in Jesus’ Most Powerful Name, Amen.
