The Lord says, “Forget what happened before, and do not think about the past.” Is 43:18

The Brightest Future

The human mind is highly prejudiced and overburdened by concentrating upon the past: be it achievements that we are proud of, or mistakes that we have committed and the guilt that remains, unrepentant  and unforgiven. But the invitation of God is very clearly revealed to the Prophet: “The Lord says, ‘Forget what happened before, and do not think about the past.’” (Is 43:18). We need great trust in the infinite amount of opportunities that God is keeping and willing to work in favor of us; hence the invitation is: “Look at the new thing I am going to do. It is already happening. Don’t you see it? I will make a road in the desert and rivers in the dry land” (Is 43:19). Only our God can and will do the seemingly impossible things and lead us into the greatest victory. May we be always hoping and trusting in the never failing promises of God for everything.

Abba, thank you for asking us to look into the fresh and new blessings you have kept for us. Let Your Spirit enable us to follow Your leading into success, in Jesus’ Most Powerful Name, Amen.
