A farmer too lazy to plow his fields at the right time will have nothing to harvest. Prov 20:4

Action Is Advised

Everyone desires good results and plenty of success, be it in the field of education, business or agriculture. But we need to concentrate on the efforts we put in, at the right time, when they are needed. Negligence on the part of labour required can never be excused at any instance, when harvest is our target; hence Solomon, the wise man advises us to take actions to achieve the desired success: “A farmer too lazy to plow his fields at the right time will have nothing to harvest” (Prov 20:4). May we give up our habitual tendency of laziness, and get ready to rise up and move towards action, so that God may extend His hands of blessing upon all our hard labour.

Abba, thank You so much for motivating us to be active to receive blessings. Let your Spirit give us strength to break the habit of sin of laziness, in Jesus’ Most Powerful Name, Amen.
