Let us give thanks to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the merciful Father, the God from whom all help comes! 2 Cor 1:3

Thank Him Generously

Admitting and appreciating the works of God in our lives should make our hearts praise and thank Him. There is not a single thing that we feel proud about having, which is achieved without the mercy of Him. The reason why God extends His hands in times of our need is that we should also imitate Him and help the others who are in need. Paul knew the importance of cultivating this attitude, hence he wrote: “Let us give thanks to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the merciful Father, the God from whom all help comes! He helps us in all our troubles, so that we are able to help others who have all kinds of troubles, using the same help that we ourselves have received from God.” (2 Cor 1:3-4). May we constantly thank God and enjoy His unlimited supply of blessings, so that we can be a blessing to others also.

Abba, thank You so much for being merciful to us. Let Your Spirit help us praise You for Your favors and make us help others, in Jesus’ Most Merciful Name, Amen.
