Light is the absolute necessity for the survival and sustenance of the entire living beings. Problems we face and confusions we go through clearly indicate the necessity of more light. We cannot illuminate ourselves by our own efforts; hence we need to approach the One who can provide it for us. In the entire history of mankind, only one person declared and claimed Himself to be the light: “When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, ‘I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.’” (Jn  8:12). Following the Light will lead us to the road that we need to travel and to the destination. May we humble ourselves by faithfully admitting the necessity of light, and follow Him continuously. 

Abba, thank You so much for sending Your Son to lead us to the Light of Life. Let Your Spirit always remind us to follow His Light, in Jesus’ Most Wonderful Name, Amen.
