“For nothing will be impossible with God.” Lk 1:37

The Highest Authority

Our scholars, doctors, and scientists declare themselves having authority over so many things, but in reality all their declarations, predictions, and results are been disproved by the mighty act of God, who is at work. Here is a woman, considered old and labeled by society as “barren”, who stands out as a true witness of the wonderful act of God: “‘Look, even Elizabeth your relative has conceived a son in her old age, and she who was called barren is in her sixth month. For nothing will be impossible with God.’ ‘I am the Lord’s servant,’ Mary answered. ‘May it happen to me according to your word.’ Then the angel left her” (Lk 1: 36-38). May we never give up hope, however difficult the situation may seem, for we have a God, for whom nothing is impossible, and His love will deliver us with the gift of a miracle that will totally transform our lives.

Abba, thank You so much for doing the impossible in favor of us, to liberate us. Let Your Spirit nurture us in this faith of believing in Your absolute authority and loving care, in Jesus’ Most Powerful Name, Amen.
