“Now, will God not judge in favor of his own people who cry to him day and night for help? Will he be slow to help them?” Lk 18:7

Persistence in Prayer

Prayer is an activity that should happen in the lives of believers continuously with full of hope. It is natural that we get tired when answers to the repeated request of prayer get delayed. But we should never give up faith, for the God whom we believe will never abandon us or deny our sincere prayers. Hence, we need to be persistent in praying, as Jesus Himself taught very clearly: “Now, will God not judge in favor of his own people who cry to him day and night for help? Will he be slow to help them? I tell you, he will judge in their favor and do it quickly. But will the Son of Man find faith on earth when he comes?” (Lk 18:7-8). May we encourage each other by our supportive prayers, that we may receive the blessing we truly deserve from the loving hands of our Heavenly Father.

Abba, thank You so much for encouraging us to pray. Let Your Spirit bring our sincerest desire unto You so that we may stay blessed, in Jesus’ Most Powerful Name, Amen.
