Let your hope keep you joyful, be patient in your troubles, and pray at all times. Rom 12:12

Rooted in Prayer

Life is so full of challenges that we cannot endure just by trusting in our skills and knowledge. But we have hope because we believe in a God who can transform everything into a blessing for His beloved children. Trusting in the mercy and love of God can make us feel happy and patient. Hence, we need to be deeply rooted in prayer, so that nothing can trouble our peace of mind. Paul gives us a simple formula that would enable any believer to remain stable in difficult situations: “Let your hope keep you joyful, be patient in your troubles, and pray at all times” (Rom 12:12). May God grant us more of His Spirit that we may continue to trust and pray.

Abba, thank You for holding us in times of trouble. Let Your Spirit help us be rooted in prayer, in Jesus’ Most Wonderful Name, Amen.
