You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over. Ps 23:5

Yearn for Full

In spiritual life, the believer should never be satisfied with having something. Instead, he should yearn for full, be it anointing or any other blessing. Only when we are fully satisfied, we would be able to share and serve. Hence, the necessity is to plead with God to be filled to the brim. David had a privilege of having this experience of completely being filled and satisfied, as he sang, “You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over” (Ps 23:5). May we ask God to fill us with His complete anointing, so that we would be satisfied to the extent that we can share it with others, as His anointing runs over to touch and heal those who are around us.

Abba, thank You for inspiring us to yearn for the full anointing. Let Your Spirit help us be satisfied to share and reach out to others, in Jesus’ Most Powerful Name, Amen.
