Love is not ill-mannered or selfish or irritable; love does not keep a record of wrongs; 1 Cor 13:5

Learn to Forget

In life it is very important that we remember things, but it is also equally important that we forget certain things. To enjoy happiness and the peace of mind, we need to release from our minds the things that others have done against us. It is, in fact, a great gift one can give to oneself and others. Any relationship can grow and become mature only when we have this healthy attitude; hence Paul writes in this most beautiful hymn of love: “Love is not ill-mannered or selfish or irritable; love does not keep a record of wrongs" (1 Cor 13:5). As God forgets all our wrong doings and blesses us with forgiveness, we need to extend the same forgiveness to anyone who is in need of it. May we grow in this grace in our daily life and practice the principle of love.

Abba thank You so much for forgiving our sins. Let Your Spirit enable us to practice forgiveness, In Jesus’ Most Loving Name, Amen
