Cry unto Him

Situations of life, when they get harder, we are not able to bear. We cry within ourselves or pour out to others, who have no capacity to redeem us. In these moments, we need to stick on to God, who alone has the power and authority to save us and bless us. Tobit sets a good example of crying out to God, asking for forgiveness and favors: “I was so embarrassed and ashamed that I sighed and began to cry. Then, as I choked back my tears, I prayed: ‘You are righteous, O Lord! You are merciful in all you do, faithful in all your ways. You are the judge of this world.’” (Tobit 3:1-2). May we never give up on God but approach Him for mercy and blessings.

Abba, thank You for hearing our cry. Let Your Spirit bring our prayers to You, in Jesus’ Most Powerful Name, Amen.
