Everyone has the right to pursue his or her own plan. But we need to think about the plan that God had in mind for creating us. The Lord, who is all good, desired that his children’s lives should be filled only with good works, as Paul writes and reminds to the believers of Ephesus: “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do” (Eph 2:10). May we keep the plan of God in mind before doing any activity, so that His purpose of creating us for doing the good will come true in our lives.

Abba, thank You for creating us to live a life of good works. Let Your Spirit inspire us always to do only the good works, in Jesus’ Most Wonderful Name, Amen.
