In life, everyone goes through a period where they cannot see clearly what they are going through. In such times, we need to ask God to give us enough light so that we can see and proceed. Otherwise, the darkness of uncertainty, fear and doubt may lead us into confusion and depression. Only God can dispel darkness because His word has the power, as it happened in the beginning of creation: “And God said, ‘Let there be light,’ and there was light” (Gen 1:3). May the Good Lord be merciful to us, and send us His Word that can bring light and guide us through life.

Abba, thank You for being the source of all light. Let Your Spirit bring us close to You, that we may receive enough light, in Jesus’ Most Wonderful Name, Amen.
