Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Gal 6:9

Do Good Perseveringly

There are laws we need to learn from nature and from people who are closely associated with nature. One of them is harvest that has its own course of time; but when a person puts in enough effort and waits for the result, it definitely provides produce. Paul, convincingly, encourages the believers to follow the example of farmers in sowing the seeds of good deeds that will grow and provide good harvest: “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up” (Gal 6:9). May God give us patience and perseverance in cultivating the seeds of good works.

Abba, thank You for encouraging us to sow good deeds. Let Your Spirit remind us to trust in the assurance of good harvest, in Jesus’ Most Wonderful Name, Amen.
