Things that appear to be harder to handle make us grow tired and weak. But the God whom we adore is always ready to meet with any situation and make it into something wonderful and useful. Emptiness, formlessness and darkness are situations we fear; but if we hand them over to our loving God we will see what beautiful creation He can bring out of them, as He did it in the beginning: "Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters. And God said, 'Let there be light,' and there was light" (Gn 1:2-3). May we never doubt the transforming power of God, who can remake us and situation into something unimaginably wonderful.

Abba, thank You for being there to create us and our lives into someone and something so wonderful. Let Your Spirit hover over us and protect us always, in Jesus’ Most Wonderful Name, Amen.
