Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice. Ps 55:17

Thrice a Day

People who expect abundant blessings are also too busy that they do not have enough time to pray. Our time is the greatest gift that we can offer to God as we approach Him, for He desires and expects our company. David, amidst his hardest duties towards his family and kingdom found time three times a day- evening, morning and noon. And he poured out to God all that had happened to him in the course of the day: “Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice” (Ps 55:17). May we cultivate the holy habit of coming to the presence of God and share with Him our needs and grief, for He alone can comfort us and strengthen us to march towards the coming challenges.

Abba, thank You for accepting and receiving us whenever we come to You. Let Your Spirit make us committed in this habit of prayer, In Jesus’ most loving Name, Amen.
