Access to God became impossible when the first parents disobeyed and were sent out of the garden of Eden. But God did not abandon the human race He created in His image to be just lost; He made a plan of redemption at the cost of sacrificing His only Son. The sacrifice Jesus made on behalf of the human race renewed the relationship, and it is thanks to His sacrifice we remain in the fellowship of God. Paul wants everyone to accept this great truth and be grateful to the Savior for His greatest act of salvation: “Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ” (Rom 5:1). May we believe in this divine arrangement and take courage to eagerly come to have fellowship with God, because Christ has done everything for us all.

Abba, thank You for making arrangement to come to have peace and fellowship with You. Let Your Spirit encourage us to come before You for praise, prayer and love, In Jesus’ Most Loving Name, Amen.
