As children we take many exams that bring us success and reward. Life gives us a number of tests, whether we like it or not, that are hard to handle. We need to put a sufficient fight to win over these trials, because when we win not only we are going to be happy but also we can make God happy. The Apostle James assures that God would provide us with the crown of life as we overcome and defeat the enemy in the battlefield of life: "Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him" (Jam 1:12).  May we be passionate about overcoming temptation and look forward to receive from the hands of God the crown that He himself prepared for us.

Abba, Thank You for encouraging us to endure temptation. Let Your Spirit strengthen us to win the battle with His power and support. In Jesus’ Most Powerful Name, Amen.
