When we go on a tour or travel, the presence of a guide makes the event easy and meaningful. As the citizens of heaven, sent for a long trip to earth, we frequently get lost and miss the schedule, since we do not fully comprehend how to proceed. During David’s life trip on earth, things became much easier for him when he found the perfect guidance in the One, whom he trusted, to lead all the days of his life; “For this God is our God for ever and ever; he will be our guide until death.” (Ps 48:14). May we also yield to this God for guidance and contract with Him, so that our journey and purpose be complete, for He alone knows why we are here and will lead us step by step.

Abba, thank You for being our lifetime guide. Let Your Spirit lead us through the way we should walk, in Jesus’ Most Wonderful Name, Amen.
