The voice spoke to him a second time, “Do not call anything impure that God has made clean.” Acts 10:15

Point of View

Even though we see one and the same thing, the point of view we hold determines the reality into varied dimensions. There is nothing wrong in having such a limited point of view, but when an opportunity arises, we need to step out of our stubborn views that distinguish and discriminate. Any form of discrimination based on gender, color, ethnicity, religion or talents cannot be justified, because it will lead us to sin of hatred. God’s children should be more open to the existence of differences and be willing to incorporate them with love and concern, as the apostle Peter was corrected in a vision; "The voice spoke to him a second time, 'Do not call anything impure that God has made clean.” (Acts 10:15). May we be generous enough to see  others as God, our creator, wants to see them, and live in fellowship with everyone around  us.

Abba, thank You for inviting us to extend our horizon. Let Your Spirit enlighten us to see from Your point of view, In Jesus’ Most Loving Name, Amen.
