“There is a lad here who has five barley loaves and two fish, but what are these for so many people?” Jn 6:9

Boy Facilitated Miracle

A miracle is the desire of anyone if that is in the list of options. There is one thing that is very basic for acquiring it, that is handing over, in faith, what we have to the One who is willing to accept them. When the apostles hesitated and feared that five barley loaves and two fish were not enough to feed the multitude, the boy was ready to hand over what little he had to the Lord, which facilitated a miracle that fed over five thousand people: “There is a lad here who has five barley loaves and two fish, but what are these for so many people?” (Jn 6:9). May we get rid of the logic and human reasoning, and surrender to the Lord what we have in hand and gladly await and enjoy the working of a miracle.

Abba, Thank You for accepting what we have in our hands. Let Your Spirit make us believe in the power of miracles, in Jesus’ Most Wonderful Name, Amen.
