Manufacturers allow their products to undergo a series of tests to get the best certification possible. In the same way, a Christian is led through various trails that at times seem hard and tough, almost impossible to bear. That is when our faith should come to aid, reminding us of the unfailing love and faithfulness of God that have protected us and provided us in the past. Paul, having gone through various forms of trials, assures us God’s provision for handling them: “No trial has come to you but what is human. God is faithful and will not let you be tried beyond your strength; but with the trial he will also provide a way out, so that you may be able to bear it.” (1 Cor 10:13) May we pray as our Master has taught us, to lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil.

Abba, Thank You for being faithful forever to us, who are weak and fragile. Let Your Spirit strengthen us in faith everyday, In Jesus’ Most Loving Name. Amen.
