You shall not take vengeance or bear a grudge against any of your people, but you shall love your neighbour as yourself: I am the Lord. Lev 19:18

Let It Go

Feeling offended is something that happens to us quite frequently and disturbs our peace of mind. We need to set this right, otherwise we may develop hatred that would not bring any good to the precious life we have, that cannot be wasted. Hence, a warning and command is given to us to promote the atmosphere of love, that would make life more meaningful: “You shall not take vengeance or bear a grudge against any of your people, but you shall love your neighbour as yourself: I am the Lord” (Lev 19:18). May God give us the grace of forgiving and letting go of the things that may upset us, for we should obey His loving commands.

Abba, Thank You for instructing us to love. Let Your Spirit enable us to let go of the unwanted things, In Jesus’ Most Loving Name, Amen.
