We tend to value ourselves and others by the appearance, educational background, job or position they hold, and so on. This would wrong our sense of accessing true values and lead to arrogance that God detests. Paul gives us a new scale to judge, that is determined by the faith that is assigned with us: “For by the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think with sober judgment, each according to the measure of faith that God has assigned.” (Rom 12:3). May we accept the new yardstick that make us humble before God and depend on Him.

Abba, Thank You for the measure of faith you have assigned for us. Let Your Spirit make us holdfast to the gift of faith, In Jesus’ Most faithful Name, Amen.
