But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. 1 Pet 3:15

Let Him Rule

One of the common errors in spiritual life is that we desire and decide to rule our lives. That is when we get into unwanted troubles and disappointments. A spiritually mature person always looks up to Christ as the Lord and receives plans and commands from Him and  follows carefully. This approach will take us to the peak of excellence, wherever He is leading us to. Peter gave the lordship of his life and heart to Jesus, and hence suggests us also: “But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect.” (1 Pet 3:15). May each and every one of our lives be unconditionally surrendered to the Master, who will rule us and lead us to successes and blessings.

Abba, Thank You for asking us to submit to Your Son’s Lordship. Let Your Spirit make us obey to His ruling, In Jesus’ Most Powerful Name, Amen.
