And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” 2 Cor 12:9

Strength Meets Weakness

There is none who can claim and say that he or she does not have weaknesses, or he or she is perfect. We are all weak. Realization about one’s weakness and self-blaming are, in fact, really hurting. Thank God, for He has given you a good conscience, that would guide you to a very safe path. Paul, who had his personal difficulties too, writes that you better not mind them, for His grace shall come and meet you when you think you are weak and troubled: “And He said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.” (2 Cor 12:9) Believe that He purposefully created you weak, out of His greatest love for you. Accept your weakness and go beyond that, for He supplies His strength for your every weakness.

Abba, Thank You for meeting us when we are weak and tired. Let Your Spirit comfort us and lead us through, In Jesus’ Most Comforting Name, Amen.
