Stop being deceived; God is not to be ridiculed. A person harvests whatever he plants. Gal 6:7

Careful About Planting

There are laws in the nature that cannot be tampered but have to be duly respected. It does not need great intelligence to absorb and know that seeds or plants produce their own kinds, be it a flower, fruit or vegetable. In life we desire good things, then the rule is to plant or sow the very thing that you desire to reap and harvest. At times we get surprised seeing the result or the produce of our life at any particular season. But have we observed that they are what we sowed and planted, consciously or unconsciously, intentionally or unintentionally? Paul warns us to be careful about planting—planting of thoughts, words and actions, that will definitely grow and multiply in their own times: “Stop being deceived; God is not to be ridiculed. A person harvests whatever he plants” (Gal 6:7). Do not get confused or puzzled seeing the produce of your life, for they are what you planted a little while ago and that has grown. We who desire positive and blessed life should be careful in choosing the right thoughts, the right words, and the right actions wisely so that we may enjoy the harvest and praise God for the good produce.

Abba, Thank You for asking us to be wise in what we are planting. Let Your Spirit make us wise in planting what we truly desire, that would satisfy us and give You praise, In Jesus’ Most Powerful Name, Amen.
