The entire galaxy, glaciers, mountains and rivers, valleys and meadows, the sky and oceans, and every individual living species, including human beings, contain and proclaim the ultimate expression of the love and compassion of the triune God in unity with His persons. The perfect love of God that created human beings, invited and included them for the fellowship and union of the highest order. The unity of this highest order disturbs and threatens the enemy, for he cannot survive or operate in such harmonious condition; hence, he devices disruptive plans to create suspicion, fear and disorder. The ambition of the first human beings yielded to the temptation of the enemy and made them enslaved by the principle of division, disorder and chaos. The compassion of God sent His Son, who mended and set right the gulf of division by His ultimate sacrifice that cost His life, in order to bring the humanity back to union with God. His greatest, groaning prayer consisted of this burning desire: “That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us.” (Jn 17:21) The message and proclamation of Paul, the pioneer evangelist echoes the same prayer of the Lord: “then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind.” (Phil 2:2) May God grant each of us and our families and churches, this spirit of harmony that unites us in one accord that prevails the cunningness of the wicked and fills the world with shouts of love, joy and peace.

Abba, Thank you for inspiring us to imitate the harmony and communion. Let Your Spirit bind us together with cords of love, in Jesus’ Most Uniting Name, Amen.
