Fear not; for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy shem; thou art Mine. Is 43:1

Hearken Ye Always

The culture that we have developed forces every employee to wear tags that remind him of the allegiance he has to the employer and the responsibility towards him. But God, who has every right over us, never forces upon us anything, and only asks to hearken the gentle voice of His love that reveals the purpose and greatness of His love for each of us: “But now thus saith Hashem that created thee, O Ya’akov, And He that formed thee, O Yisroel, Fear not; for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy shem; thou art Mine.” (Is 43:1) Consider the amount of things that are narrated that explain our intimate relationship with Him - created, formed, redeemed, called and possessed. Only the conscious and content meditation can keep us reflect and preserve this mystery of faith, by echoing, within us, like an infinite wave that pronounces our special allegiance to Him. Then our minds can trust, relax and enjoy His provisions and arrangements that will never fail and will make us sing and praise with the Psalmist: “He maketh me to lie down in green pastures; He leadeth me beside the mei menuchot (tranquil waters).” (Ps 23:2) May we believe in His love and declare aloud, just as David, the unfailing plans and purpose of His that are eternally the highest and forever the greatest.

Abba, Thank You for Your Love that created, formed, redeemed, called and possesses us. Let Your Spirit make us hear this description of Love all the days and times of our life, In Jesus’ Most Loving Name, Amen.
