He will feed His flock like a shepherd; He will gather the lambs with His arm, And carry them in His bosom, And gently lead those who are with young. Is 40:11

Caring Us Individually

Every individual child that is born on earth is exceptionally unique, has the need for care, love and protection, each highly distinct and the amount unparalleled. But God, the Creator alone can recognize the need of each child and provides accordingly; He chooses the place we need to be born, and the parents’ under whose care we should grow and develop. His special love for everyone is astonishingly noteworthy. To the people, who were shepherds and had the experience of pastoring and seeing the different needs of each lamb and ewe and witnessing them being attended with utmost care, the prophet declared the message of comfort: “He will feed His flock like a shepherd; He will gather the lambs with His arm, And carry them in His bosom, And gently lead those who are with young.” (Is 40:11) No one can express this love of God or narrate them in phrases, for it’s intensity and depth are incomprehensible as the author describes in his song: “His left hand is under my head, And his right hand embraces me.” (SoS 2:6) Only a firsthand experience can make one feel this loving care He extends to each of us individually. May we always look forward to this comfort in our time of pain and struggle, for He alone can comfort our inmost being.

Abba, Thank You so much for Your special and individual care. Let Your Spirit bring us close to Your bosom whenever we need this unique solace, In Jesus’ Most Comforting Name, Amen.
