Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. Gal 6:2

Sharing Our Strength

The strongest machines are invented and used to relieve the burdens of heavy and hard labor. The purpose and design of these are done, keeping into account the duty of lessening the load of others. In life, if you believe that you are more capable and strong than others are, then realize that you are designed so by the Creator for a special purpose, of making your strength available to those in need of support. You may be gifted than others in any area, be it physical strength, intellectual ability, planing skill or executing them, and in any other thing you believe that you are well off, then, that is the strength that God has secured in you to save those around you — your family, society, nation and the world at large. Joseph’s strength of knowing the secret of interpretation of dreams, saved the nation from starvation and brought welfare to his brothers. Take pride in your strength and start the mission of putting it in the service of mankind, as Paul reminds: “Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.” (Gal 6:2) The chief apostle confirms this message by adding his advice regarding sharing of our strength: “As each one has received a special gift, employ it in serving one another as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.” (1 Pet 4:10) May we put in all the resources that God has invested in us and relieve one another’s burden and make others live easy and praise God.

Abba, Thank You for the gift of our individual strength. Let Your Spirit make us lift the burdens of those in need, and remain as the stewards of Your grace, In Jesus’ Most Strengthening Name, Amen.
