He gives me new strength. For the good of his name, he leads me on paths that are right. Ps 23:3

Path and Ground

The destination port may be already given but the gate, the runway that he needs to take are however subject to change, and that needs to be fully accepted for their safe take off. In spiritual life, even though you may be clear about the destination, however, the Spirit of God has the right and upper-hand to change or alter the course at any moment. David confirms that he agrees: “He gives me new strength. For the good of his name, he leads me on paths that are right.” (Ps 23:3) To arrive before the take off runway, we may be instructed a couple of left and right that looks to us a delay for an impatient believer; but we have to take His course for He has taken the responsibility of leveling the ground before us: “This is what the LORD says to Cyrus His anointed, whose right hand I have grasped to subdue nations before him, to disarm kings, to open the doors before him, so that the gates will not be shut: ‘I will go before you and level the mountains; I will break down the gates of bronze and cut through the bars of iron.’” (Is 45:1-2) May we fully confident as the one who leads us has chosen already the path and the ground He has prepared and continues to prepare.

Abba, Thank You for giving us instructions for the advancement of the spiritual life. Let Your Spirit give us humility to so follow all the instructions in this safe journey of life, In Jesus’ Most Wonderful Name, Amen.
