“Therefore say to them, ‘Thus says the LORD of hosts, “Return to Me,” declares the LORD of hosts, “that I may return to you,” says the LORD of hosts.”’ Zech 1:3

Command To Return

As the president of the nation, holding the supreme command over the army of the country, he deploys his army and personals over a particular task by sending them to a particular nation with necessary weapons. But when he issues another order that says “Return,” they immediately need to pack things and set for journey back to the country. In the same way, the God of heavenly armies, who is the Creator of human beings, and set us in particular places, has complete authority over us, to send and to call back to return. Preoccupied with worldly things and enticed by the distractions of the world, men forget who they belong to, and why they are sent: “The ox knows its master, the donkey its owner’s manger, but Israel does not know, my people do not understand.” (Is 1:3) and hence, warning has been issued through His prophet: “Therefore say to them, 'Thus says the LORD of hosts, "Return to Me," declares the LORD of hosts, "that I may return to you," says the LORD of hosts.”’ (Zech 1:3) An interesting secret is been inscribed in this message, that surprises His anointed ones, is that He is returning too. Then, there is going to be a meeting between Him and us, in a special meeting place, that He only knows. May we be swift in understanding this alert, and desire to encounter Him, as He approaches us with His heavenly armies.

Abba, Thank You for alerting us to return to You, as You are about to return, too. Let Your Spirit increase our desire with a heart full of hope of the meeting, that is declared as a promise, In Jesus’ Most Powerful Name, Amen.
