Listen well to wise counsel and be willing to learn from correction so that by the end of your life you’ll be known for your wisdom. Proverbs 19:20-21

His purpose will succeed in the end.

Listen well to wise counsel and be willing to learn from correction so that by the end of your life you’ll be known for your wisdom. A person may have many ideas concerning God’s plan for his life, but only the designs of his purpose will succeed in the end. Proverbs 19:20-21

Listen—listening is one of the most difficult activities for today’s generation. God has given us two ears so that we would listen twice as much as we speak. It is not an ordinary listening. It is classified as well.

And to whom? To the wise counsel. Ideas are many and advises are cheap and varied. So, listen well to the wise counsel and be willing to learn from correction. Many a people don’t learn from correction. How many times you correct them—they make the same mistake again and again.

So that by the end of your life—yes, your life has an end. You many not know when that will come to you. You will be known for your wisdom. That’s the thing that you should be proud of. Not the vehicle you own,  not the laptop you have, not the gadgets, not the car, it should be your wisdom: whether you are a man of wisdom or not—that’s what matters.

The person may have many ideas. Yes, we all have many ideas concerning God’s plan for his life. You may have your own idea. Man proposes, God disposes. So you should know because: but only the designs of His purpose will succeed in the end.

Dear brothers and sisters. Only the designs. He created you with the design, with the purpose. Whatever you may learn, His definite purpose will succeed in the end. Yes, God the Victor, the Mighty, Kings of Armies of Angels will achieve that.

Loving Father, help us be humble enough to learn from the wise counsel, learn from correction, and acquire wisdom, and accept and look forward to the purpose of Yours for us that will succeed in the end, in Jesus’ Most Wise Name, Amen.
