I wait quietly before God, for my victory comes from him. Psalm 62:1

My Victory Comes from HIM

Wait, please wait, quiet please before God. Wait, wait wait, quietly before God. While you wait, your victory will definitely come from Him.

I wait. We all wait for so many things A mother waits to see the face of a child for several months. For a boy and a girl, slightly different. In Olympics, an athlete or a champion waits. To get a graduation, a bachelor or a scholar has to wait.To see his novel done, to see his movie made, to achieve his ambitious project—for everything man has to wait.

But the God, you have to wait quietly for He has said “be calm.” He speaks to you in stillness. Paul, the Apostle also said “be calm.”

Many a times staying quiet is an easy thing because we are living in a noisy world. That’s why you cannot wait. But you have to wait quietly.

It is in the stillness prophets heard the Mighty Voice, in a gentle manner.

Because He is God, He demands waiting quietly. You need to give Him what He demands.

For my victory—victory is not something that you can achieve on your own. Who are you after all? You are His creation. He wants you to be enjoying victory. Definitely He wants all his children to have victory. But the one who listens to this command of waiting quietly, receives that, because that victory comes form Hin and Him alone.

Shall we give God waiting quietly. It’s not easy, much more difficult. Everyone is going through, including me.

Abba, Thank You for assuring us. Sometimes we get disappointed when the waiting is too long. But help us hold on to faith and receive the victory from Your hand. Let Your Spirit lead us through the path of waiting quietly. In Jesus’ Most Powerful Name, Amen.
